Hello, first of all great video. This video is a good reality check and I came to the conclusion that although it is not my first passion it is something I can easily do. I am not saying that this field is easy and that money pours but I am a people’s person. I have about 1 1/2 of manager experience. I plan on going to my local Community college and Major in Real Estate. I have so much to learn and I am glad that you have these videos out for newbies like me. Thanks for the great video man!!

Great videos man. I found you as I am looking into getting into this business. I’m going to keep watching and keep learning. Thanks for putting out these great videos to help not only myself but also everyone else here know what it takes.

Hi. Can I ask whether you are landlording in Ontario, Canada? I have heard the laws are really biased in favour of bad tenants there.

StressFreeLandlord July 24, 2013 at 2:41 pm

No, I only invest in the Central Ohio area. Even if the laws are in favor of the tenants, this should not keep you from becoming a landlord. With the right due diligence and systems in place, you can greatly minimize your risk. The advantages of building long term wealth through being a landlord outweigh the issues you may face from time to time.

I have been devating with myself and wife about getting into the businessb for 2 years now and we are in the midst of a negotiation for a 4 family house now. Thanks for putting your knowledge and book out there it has helped greatly on how to handle the next steps after closing. One question I have is since I am doing an fha loan should I start an llc right off the bat or wait until I have a second property? Thanks again for the knowledge and btw we are in cincinnati.
